Our history
We have been creating value from property for more than 30 years. Established in 1984 as one of the first pure commercial property agents in Norway, our group now ranks among the country’s most complete providers of property agency, consultancy and investment products in this field.
We are proud of having been involved in the industry’s development from the days when commercial property was a new concept which most people regarded as an operating asset. Experience and expertise mean we are better equipped to see what action must be taken at any given time to create value added for our clients and investors. We are grateful for the confidence shown in us, and ready to take on new challenges.
We create value from property
1984
Norsk Megling is established in Oslo, with Norsk Nærings Megling (NNM) in the towns of Tønsberg, Oslo and Moss.
1986
NNM is also established in Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim, together with Norsk Eiendoms Forvaltning and Eiendomsselskapet Sondre.
1990-
Strengthens position as one of Norway’s leading commercial estate agents.
2002
Norsk Nærings Megling Oslo merges with Norden Eiendomsmeglerforretning.
2004
UNION Gruppen is established as the holding company for the group. UNION Eiendomskapital established.
2005
Storebrand Eiendomsfond established.
2006
Glitnir begins the acquisition of UNION Gruppen.
2009
UNION Gruppen becomes wholly owned by its partners.
2010
UNION Management and UNION Corporate are established. UNION thereby becomes one of Norway’s most complete commercial property groups. The UNION Eiendomsinvest Norge fund is established.
2012
UNION Management establishes a branch in Stavanger.
2014
70 per cent of Storebrand Eiendomsfond is sold. UNION Real Estate Fund established. UNION Management established a branch in Kristiansand.
2016
UNION Core Real Estate Fund and UNION Real Estate Fund II are established.
2017
UNION Project Management AS is established.
