Investment Director | UNION Credit

UNION Credit offers private and tailored loans to real estate companies across the Nordic region, and the team has extensive debt capital market experience. To support our ambitious growth and increasing workload, we are selectively expanding our team.

As an Investment Director at UNION Credit, you will play a significant role in identifying, structuring, and executing attractive investment opportunities in a market characterized with growing complexity and demand for alternative financing solutions. You will be an important team member shaping the department’s further development.

This is a unique opportunity for professionals motivated to part-take in the development of credit funds from an early stage while working in a dynamic, market-leading environment with high standards and expectations.

We are looking for someone with experience from fixed income and debt origination, strong commercial skills, an extensive network, and proven ability to execute transactions from identification to closing. Sector experience is an advantage but not a requirement. Lack of transaction experience can be compensated with a strong investor network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and structure loan facilities for real estate companies in the Nordic region.
• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of UNION Credit.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, borrowers, and advisory firms.
• Actively monitor and analyze the market to identify new opportunities.
• Ongoing portfolio allocation and trading of listed bonds.

Background and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from Investment Banking DCM, Fixed Income Sales/Syndication, Corporate Banking/Loans, Private Debt, or Project Finance from Tier 1 financial institutions.
• Proven transaction experience and solid expertise in debt structuring from previous performance-oriented environments.
• A broad network among potential investors and borrowers.
• Strong interest and knowledge about the Nordic credit market.
• High work capacity, a "can-do attitude," and the ability to see opportunities where others see challenges.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
