UNION strengthens the team

UNION Gruppen is experiencing strong growth and innovation in several business areas, and has hired employees and made changes internally during the summer and autumn.

Johan Hamre took over as managing director of UNION Eiendomskapital on August 15th. He has been in UNION since spring 2007. In recent years he has been a partner in UNION Eiendomskapital and head of the company's transaction department. Johan has studied economics, administration and finance at BI Norwegian Business School, as well as Real Estate Finance at the University of Amsterdam. Hamre takes over for Bjørn Henningsen, who continues as an active partner.

- Today's owners of the UNION Group will continue to work on value creation, relationships and income-generating work. The appointment of Johan as new CEO of UNION Eiendomskapital contributes to UNION's overall goals; to focus on long-term and sustainability, says CEO Øystein A. Landvik of the UNION Group.

Malin Øvrebø strengthens the finance team of UNION Eiendomskapital. She is employed to meet the growing need for financial reporting to investors in syndicates and funds. Malin has previously worked as an accountant and has been hired for a private equtiy company during the last six months.

UNION Norsk Næringsmegling has employed Thor Olav Bogen as an advisor in the leasing team. Together with an already effective team, he will help strengthen UNION's role as a leading player in the industry. Thor Olav has long experience in brokerage and marketing. He has worked in finance for more than 10 years, of which 9 years as a stok broker in DNB Markets. Bogen has education from BI, Norway's Market High School and Universite de Friborg in Switzerland.

Ole Magnus Bjerke switches from the transaction team in UNION Norsk Næringsmegling to UNION Project Management and will work as project director.

Head of research Robert Nystad has employed Ann Kristin Aure as senior analyst at his team. Ann Kristin has several years of experience as an analyst in commercial property, and has also worked as an analyst in residential development. She has a background as a social economist from the University of Bergen.

Marius Bye went from the leasing team of UNION Norsk Næringsmegling to the analysis team in June. He is a junior analyst and holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from BI Norwegian Business School.
