We want to contribute actively to the green transition. To assist us in this transformation process, we chose in 2020 to join the Norwegian Green Building Council and to sign up to the 10 immediate actions recommended in the property sector’s roadmap to 2050. These immediate measures will help us to meet the constant stream of new requirements and expectations coming from financial players, government and the market in general.
In addition to our commitment to the environment, we are also up front with regard to social conditions and corporate governance. We have produced an ESG policy as well as a code of conduct for ourselves and our suppliers. The ESG policy provides further information about how we work with a number of indicators related to these aspects.
The Transparency Act:
As part of UNION's work on sustainability and responsible business management, UNION has set up a team and started the work of surveying and carefully assessing business relationships and suppliers' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions. Written requests for information about UNION's work with the transparency act can be addressed to post@union.no and will be answered in accordance with the law.

Our governance documents
Our involvement with sports and charitable purposes aims to create commitment and involve employees, clients and partners.
Proud sponsor of
Drammen Håndballklubb
One of Norway’s best handball teams plays with UNION on their chests. We’re proud of that. Kristian Kjelling leads the team, which took second place in the premier division last year. We’re looking forward eagerly to seeing what this year’s season has to offer.
Our contribution to youth sport
We back recreational sports for children and young people – something our staff are deeply committed to. Getting children involved in sport and exercise is one of the most important things we do. We proudly support many children who turn out every day on ice rinks, artificial grass, running tracks and handball pitches to play, train and develop themselves.
